Gaza Media Office Reports Hundreds Killed Since Ceasefire
The office stated it had recorded 875 breaches of the ceasefire, including 265 cases of direct gunfire at civilians, 49 military incursions into residential zones, 421 shelling incidents, and 150 demolitions of homes.
It accused Israel of failing to uphold its humanitarian responsibilities under the accord, noting that only 17,819 aid trucks were permitted entry out of the 42,800 agreed — “an average of just 244 trucks per day out of the 600 agreed daily, meaning a compliance rate not exceeding 41 percent.”
The statement added that just 394 fuel trucks out of 3,650 had been allowed into Gaza, averaging five per day instead of the 50 stipulated in the deal.
“This means the occupation has complied with only 10% of the agreed fuel quantities, leaving hospitals, bakeries, and water and sewage stations almost completely out of service, and worsening the daily suffering of civilians,” the office said.
It further warned of a “deep and unprecedented humanitarian crisis” in Gaza, citing Israel’s refusal to open border crossings or permit the entry of tents, mobile homes, caravans, and shelter materials, “in a blatant violation of the agreement and international humanitarian law.”
